Health of Henry Garza (Post 6378, Dickinson)

~ Wanted to share this message I received from Diane yesterday, plus additional info she has shared today concerning Henry.  I need some prayers for my Henry.  He is really sick. He will be going into UTMB on Thursday morning for throat surgery again. He has 3 more of those palittes in his throat, which makes it hard for him to eat and to talk. So Please say a prayer for us that his surgery goes well this week.  This morning he was really not feeling well.  His blood pressure was really high and he was sick to his stomach. He said it was just the butterflies before his surgery tomorrow. But anyways thanks so much for the prayers.   He is continuing his difficult battle.  PLEASE keep both of them close to your heart and in your prayers. (LG)

Lee Luker (Aux 8551, Sweeny) ~ I am asking for your prayers for our long time friend and Auxiliary Sister Lee Luker who is currently serving as Treasurer for 8551.  She is also the mother of our Dist Pres Beth.  Lee fell at her home and was found last night after we became concerned for her.  She was to work bingo down at the Post and is so faithful and usually early.  When she didn't arrive, hadn't called and no answer to her phone, I went to check on her.  The police were called, and her daughter Linda came and opened up the house and found her laying on the floor.  An ambulance was called and she was taken to Sweeny Hospital close by where she lives.  She was to be transported to a Houston hospital (once a bed could be found) -- this was about 10 PM Sat night.   Over the years Lee has had many health concerns...but she is STRONG.  As I learn more, I will share.  Please keep her in your prayers and close to your heart. (LG)

** UPDATE ** Beth called this morning to let me know which hospital her momma had been moved to and how she was doing.   She was transported to Memorial Southwest, near I-59 and Beechnut/Gessner.  They arrived there about 12:30 AM this morning.  At about 9:30 AM (when Beth called), Lee was still unresponsive.  The Drs still don't know what the problem could be.  Please continue your prayers.(LG)
